I can't believe I used to find current affairs uninteresting. What was I thinking? As I write, Americans are (hopefully) voting in their first ever BLACK PRESIDENT. I can hardly contain myself. Well, I'd hardly be able to contain myself if I wasn't:

I watched the results coming in live on the TV at work. I wished I'd booked a holiday to America, just so I could be there with all of you. It looked so festive and amazing!
It was insane how you could hear cheering from all over the city. And we weren't even in Chicago where it all was really happening. Kinda fun.
